There's a bit of Arsenic and Old Lace about Gypsy Honeymoon...a mix of character and contradiction, eccentricity and pleasure that feels like grandma's attic, only stranger. Situated on the border of Noe Valley and the Mission, the store has long been a favorite of the Elle Décor and Wallpaper crowd alike for its antique light fixtures, medical cabinets, garden statuary, religious icons, glass eyeballs, estate jewelry and other uncommon finds. New owner Welmoed Muller has retained the eclectic offering and Art Nouveau-inspired touches, and added fine European antiques, candy, flowers and more to the mix. She's also expanded into two additional spaces to showcase local artists in exhibits that change every 6 to 8 weeks.
