When Heather DiPetrillo saw the space at 212 Utah Street that her eponymous shop now occupies, she says it was love at first sight. Since relocating from Southern California where she worked in the antiques trade in both Newport and Laguna Beach, her goal has been to restore 212 Utah to its original beauty and function dedicated to the decorative arts. So far she's off to a great start. Primarily an antique shop to the trade, the vast size of the space offers the opportunity to display a variety of merchandise ranging in price from $20 to $200,000. Period furniture sits along side quality mid-century pieces; antique oil paintings, engravings, tapestries and vintage game heads cover the exposed brick walls of the space. You'll also find a stellar collection of antique lighting.
