Julien Designs, located in bustling North Berkeley, he creates distinctive floral arrangements for every occasion and any setting, specializing in weddings, parties and other events. A theater arts graduate, Arendtson infuses his arrangements with a dramatic flair that is architectural, fun, and sexy. Often starting with just a client's favorite color in mind, or an unusual, exotic vase, he creates striking compositions of color, shape, scent and texture using everything from fresh-cut blooms and branches to miniature fruits and vegetables. And his knack for presentation doesn't stop there–this bright, airy shop is full of carefully selected gifts, including fruit-punch colored vases sculpted from wax, hand-crafted jewelry, exotically scented canles and a vast variety of soaps, lotions and potions.
