"You're pretty. We'll make you flawless." That's the promise from Evan Kaminsky, proprietor (and sole queen) of this Hayes Valley salon that specializes in custom-blended make-up. Evan has been creating make-up magic for more than a decade, first as a theatrical actor and makeup artist, and then as a student of prosthetic make-up design at Cal State, Long Beach. Stints at MAC and Benefit taught him the retail ropes and helped him hone his cosmetic craft. At Oui, Three Queens, he offers an ecclectic menu of services that range from Make-Up 101 (a make-over with do-it-yourself instruction) to Image consultuing (a la your favorite makeover shows), and to top it off, Evan is an ordained minister ready to complete any wedding package! Other services offered include brow shaping, lash tinting, hair cuts and creative color. Evan custom-blends lipstick, blush, foundation, concealer, eye shadow and other products with the purest ingredients, including whisper-light micronized minerals that are to talc what silk stockings are to support hose.
