It's all part of the search for the unique finds that will appeal to her customers at Timeless Treasures, a charming yet unpretentious home furnishings boutique tucked away on a residential block just west of Fillmore Street. It's also a favorite of prop stylists looking for unique décor details that breathe life and character into advertising and catalogues. Rustic tables and cabinets with the weathered charm of old paint, oversized antique wooden sign letters, crystal Italian and French chandeliers, elegant old mirrors, vintage jewelry and much more fill the space that once was a mirror and glass repair shop. Adhering to a personal philosophy of "buy only what you really love, and let your style evolve gradually," she is equally drawn to hand-me-down family sterling silver and a quirky set of vintage rubber stamps found at a flea market. Her personal passion for writing and typography inspired her focus on letters and graphics that range from cuff links and earrings handcrafted from vintage typewriter keys to elegant inkwells and antique typewriters that have been completely restored at a Mission-District typewriter repair shop.
